Can a lottery number generator improve my chances of winning?

No. Every combination of numbers is exactly equally likely to be drawn, so no method of choosing them, random, “lucky” or based on past results, changes your odds. A generator only saves you the effort of choosing, and gives you numbers with no personal pattern.

What are the odds of winning the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots?

Powerball is 1 in 292,201,338 (5 numbers from 69 plus 1 Powerball from 26). Mega Millions is 1 in 290,472,336 (5 numbers from 70 plus 1 Mega Ball from 24, the matrix used since April 2025). EuroMillions is 1 in 139,838,160, UK Lotto (6 from 59) is 1 in 45,057,474 and a 6/49 game is 1 in 13,983,816.

Is picking 1-2-3-4-5-6 a bad idea?

It is exactly as likely to be drawn as any other combination. The only difference is that many people choose it, so if it ever did win, the prize would probably be shared with more people.

Do “hot” and “cold” numbers matter?

No. The balls have no memory. Over very long periods every ball appears about equally often, and the short-term differences you see in statistics tables are ordinary random variation.

Are these tickets official? Can I buy them here?
